6.3 Account Deletion
You have the right to delete your account and all associated data at any time. To delete your account:
- Log in to your account
- Go to Settings
- Navigate to the Security tab
- Click Delete Account
- Confirm the deletion
Upon deletion, all your data will be permanently removed from our servers within 30 days. This includes all notes, ideas, links, quotes, workpads, and account information. This action cannot be undone.
Alternatively, you can request account deletion by emailing privacy@whilesmart.com from the email address associated with your account.
6.4 Data Portability
You can export all your data in a machine-readable format (JSON) from the Settings page.
7. Data Retention
We retain your data for as long as your account is active. After account deletion, we delete all associated data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.
8. Children's Privacy
The Service is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If we learn we have collected such information, we will delete it promptly.
9. International Data Transfers
Your information may be transferred to and processed in countries other than your own. We ensure appropriate safeguards are in place for such transfers.
10. Cookies and Tracking
We use essential cookies for authentication and session management. We may use analytics tools to understand how the Service is used. You can control cookies through your browser settings.
